Ribbon Butterfly Bobby PinsSweet little ribbon butterflies to perch in your hair! Or, skip adding the bobby pin and glue them to a magnet instead. Wooden Spool BeadsA long, long time ago (well in Internet terms, anyway) I had a tutorial up for these beads. I'm putting together a "quickie" tutorial for them here. This pre-supposes a basic knowledge of working with polymer clay, for which there is a LOT of information on the internet. I recommend starting with the Polymer Clay FAQ at Polymer Clay Central So without further ado: SUPPLIES Polymer clay Roller or pasta machineCutting blade (a wall paper scraping blade works well for larger cuts, a craft knife is handing for finer trimming) Wooden spools Acrylic paint Click the "read more" button to go to the instructions. "Found" PuppetsHello! I'm the Green Guy! It all started at the dollar store. I found the silicone basting brush, which was practically begging to be made into a puppet. I was then in "creature making mode," and found a chenille scrub brush and duster that also wanted a new and exciting life as puppets. Click the "read more" button to go to the instructions. Percussion MalletFor the budding drummers among you! A wooden dowel and a bouncy ball make a wonderful percussion mallet. This project requires a power tool, so SAFETY FIRST! Make sure to follow tool precautions (long hair tied back, eye protection, etc.) If you don't have a drum handy, an empty coffee can or a bucket work well to pound out a rhythm! Instructions |
